  • Account & Profile Information: When you register an account on our website, we store the personal information provided in your user profile (e.g., username, email address). You can view, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (username changes may be restricted). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.
  • Comments: When visitors leave comments, we collect the form data along with the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to facilitate spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service (Gravatar Privacy Policy).
  • Media: If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading files with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors can extract this data.

A. Extension Data We Collect

  • Authentication Information: Credentials, session tokens, and user IDs used exclusively to authenticate your account and verify your active subscription status.
  • Website Content & Input: Text selections, prompts, URLs, audio, or page elements that you explicitly submit to trigger writing tools, summarization, OCR, transcription, or SEO analysis.
  • Screen & Tab Media: Visual media captured via desktop capture, scripting, or tab permissions exclusively when you initiate screenshot captures or screen recording sessions.
  • Tracking Targets: User-designated target URLs, element selectors, and price thresholds configured for the Smart Page and Price Monitor tool.

B. How the Extension Uses Data & Permissions

  • Single-Purpose Use: Data is accessed solely to execute the specific tool or action you trigger. We do not inspect unrequested tabs or track general browsing activity.
  • Display Calibration: System display information (resolution and bounds) is queried locally to scale and align overlays, screenshot crops, and side panels to your monitor setup.
  • Background Alarms & Notifications: Alarms periodically run automated page-checks for tracked items, and notifications send local desktop alerts when price drops or updates occur.
  • Clipboard Operations: The clipboard is written to only when you click a button to copy generated AI output or transcripts. The extension never inspects or reads your clipboard.

C. Extension Storage & Third-Party Sharing

  • Local Storage: Authentication tokens and monitoring configurations are stored client-side using Chrome's local and session storage APIs. Extension cookies remain strictly local on your device.
  • Transient Processing: Text inputs, audio streams, and captured screen media are processed ephemerally during requests and are not retained on our servers after generating output.
  • AI Providers: User-provided prompts and content are transmitted via encrypted TLS/HTTPS connections to external AI model providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) solely to execute generation requests. These providers do not use your inputs to train public models.
  • No Commercial Sale: Extension user data is never sold, transferred to data brokers, used for creditworthiness assessments, or repurposed for targeted advertising.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit across our website, authentication endpoints, and API services.

5. Data Retention & User Rights

  • Website Data: Website comments and associated metadata are retained indefinitely for moderation continuity.
